In-House Manufacturing: Here at R.L.C. we manufacture everything we sell in-house. We also burn-in and completely test and inspect every unit many times times before it is shipped. We do not use out of house job shops or sub contractors. We believe the only way to control quality is to do everything in-house here at our Paso Robles, California USA facility. We believe in using no excuses. Just deliver great products with perfect quality.

Why Racing: R.L.C. first started SCCA club racing with Formula Mazda open wheel cars as a hobby. We soon realized the racing industry lacked a great system which utilized modern technology. In particular no one offered graphic displays or USB FLASH storage or even simple 802.11B WiFi wireless technology. The best systems available were based on old obsolete CPU technology with black and white liquid crystal segment type displays. No systems offered graphics display. Data was only displayed in digits while logged data was only available after being downloaded to a PC and analyzed with separate programs. These programs were not user friendly and offered little help. Data needed to be interpreted from PC graphs or tables, and it was difficult to get anything from the data.

R.L.C. decided a new system was desperately needed. The new system should use the most modern, up-to-date technology including a sunlight readable graphics display and should allow the driver and crew to interpret the data in real-time as well as aide in on-the-spot changes to the set-up of the race car.
