| For Spec Miatas, you can connect to the tach output on the diagnostic port using either a direct connect wire (for late models) or the ITS-RLC-SPK sensor (for early models). If using the ITS-RLC-SPK sensor strip the stiff wire and plug directly into diagnostic port, ground other end (black wire with spade attached). |

We recommend picking up the tach with the diagnostic port but you can also use a tach sensor and wrap it around the spark plug wire. This method will not work on a wasted fire system such as the Spec Miata. |
