   Being able to overlay different laps from the same session or different laps from different sessions is a vital tool when trying to find the fastest lap line around a track. By overlaying a lap line, like your fastest lap, over another lap you can quickly determine the reason why one lap is faster than another. Only R.L.C. will show you each individual lap line so you can absolutely see the difference between the lap lines. You can graph sensors like the brakes and throttle position so when you analyze a turn you can see exactly when you applied the brakes and when you got back on the throttle. Examining turns in this much detail will quickly let you identify the most effective way to negotiate a turn.

   In the screen shot below we are zoomed in on the track map so that you can really see the overlay line; the red line is the current lap and the gray line is the fast lap from the same session. You can easily see that the lap lines are different and can truly identify what made one lap better than another. Also we graphed the brake sensors, throttle position, and steering position sensor. Graphing these along with viewing the track you can see exactly what you were doing when you were driving.
